Jeff Gooding is the IT Principal Manager of Grid Architecture and Systems Engineering at Southern California Edison, overseeing solution architecture for key initiatives such as ENCORE, AMI 2.0, and IT solution design for transmission, distribution, and generation projects. Previously, Jeff served as Principal Manager of Enterprise Architecture and led Smart Grid Systems Engineering for many of SCE’s research and demonstration projects. He was also the Chief Architect of SmartConnect, SCE’s initial Advanced Metering Infrastructure program to deploy 5 million smart meters. Before joining SCE, Jeff was a Senior Manager at Cap Gemini Consulting and Ernst & Young, specializing in energy trading and ISO market systems design. He holds an M.B.A. and B.S. from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
