Abstract:  The global electric power sector is undergoing its most profound transformation since its founding over a century ago. Power systems are shifting from a centralized, one-directional, fossil-fuel-based past toward an increasingly decarbonized, decentralized, and participative future. The scale of change represents a true systems transformation challenge. Navigating this complexity requires new tools and governance approaches that will be explored in this session.
